Advocates: The Foundation of Medcor’s Difference
Ensuring your workforce is cared for starts with people who care about what they do.
We agree.
Medcor’s culture is centered around people, and everything we do is with the goal of fostering long-term partnerships. From the hiring process through placement at a client worksite, we work hard to match the right advocates to the right clients, assuring they are well-prepared for the unique needs of the conditions.
Reduce your barriers to care today with Medcor.
Medcor’s Advocate Experience Differentiators
Our care and attention in finding the right advocates sets us apart, giving you the results you expect and your employees the care they deserve.
Personalized Care
No two organizations are exactly alike, and finding what makes your company unique is the starting point of all our client relationships.
We take the time to truly get to know your organization and your workers. This enables us to identify specific occupational challenges your workers face, allowing us to tailor our solutions to their needs. By integrating our advocates into your organization, that is where trust is developed and consistent quality is assured.
Allowing advocates to be the first point of contact for injured workers is how they truly become a part of your team. They collaborate with you to ensure Medcor is meeting your expectations, adjusting as necessary to deliver results. Many of our best ideas have come from our advocates embedded at client worksites, searching for solutions we may have not thought of yet.
Medcor advocates become your partners in offering occupational healthcare services to your workers, building trust to increase care utilization and reduce the cost of unnecessary offsite care.
Deep Clinical Experience
All Medcor advocates go through an occupational health bootcamp prior to taking a client assignment, further preparing them — on top of their schooling and prior work experience — for their duties caring for your workers. Our injury triage nurses, for example, have an average of 4.5 years of experience prior to joining Medcor, putting them at an advantage to provide care recommendations to injured employees.
All the care Medcor advocates provide is backed by our Medcor Care Protocols, a series of policies and procedures developed by our clinical affairs team. These standardized practices ensure every injury gets the same type of care, regardless of where it happens, giving your team the most up-to-date recommendations available.
