Medcor’s Health Services Are Systems-Driven
Medcor Canada’s clinical programs are supported by a suite of proprietary technology built specifically for occupational health, not adapted from general healthcare systems. Our technology captures, connects and applies clinical data to produce better outcomes for workers and more consistent programs for employers.
Built for Occupational Health. Built by Medcor.
General healthcare technology was not built for the pace, scale and complexity of workplace injury response. Medcor’s technology was. Every system we use was developed or configured specifically for occupational health delivery, supporting our clinicians, our clients and our quality assurance process.
Medfiles — Occupational Health Electronic Medical Record
Medfiles is Medcor’s proprietary electronic medical record system, purpose-built for occupational health. It captures clinical documentation from every patient interaction, onsite clinic visits, triage calls and follow-up care, in a standardized format that supports reporting, compliance and continuity of care.
For Medcor Canada clients, Medfiles is configured to meet Canada-specific documentation requirements, including those aligned with provincial workers’ compensation reporting expectations.
- Standardized, compliant documentation across every patient interaction
- Canada-specific configuration for WCB and WSIB requirements
- Supports continuity of care across clinic visits and triage calls
- Integrates with client HR systems and reporting workflows
AFKAM II — Patented Triage Software
AFKAM II is the second generation of Medcor’s proprietary triage platform and the engine behind our 24/7 teletriage service. It guides triage nurses through structured clinical interviews using Medcor’s patented algorithms, ensuring that every call produces a consistent, evidence-based care recommendation regardless of which nurse takes the call.
- Patented clinical algorithms for injury and illness assessment
- Structured interview process that reduces variability across calls
- Real-time documentation during the triage call
- Supports integration with client OSHA and incident reporting systems
Proactive Program Management (PPM)
Medcor’s Proactive Program Management system is a real-time intelligence platform that gives our clinical and operational leadership visibility into program performance across every client site. PPM integrates data from multiple systems to surface operational variances, compliance risks and clinical quality indicators, before they become problems.
- Real-time monitoring of clinic operations and workforce activity
- Automated alerts for operational variances and compliance risks
- Role-based access for clinical, operational and client-facing teams
- Supports proactive intervention and continuous program improvement
Medcor QAi — Artificial Intelligence for Triage Quality
Medcor launched QAi in collaboration with Amazon Web Services, an artificial intelligence initiative designed to improve the scalability and consistency of triage quality assurance. QAi supports clinical training, documentation review and, in a future phase, real-time support for triage nurses during calls.
QAi is built on Medcor’s unique database of millions of standardized triage records, and all development occurs in secure, private environments. It will be deployed only after rigorous clinical and compliance review.
Technology That Supports Every Service Line
Our technology does not operate in isolation, it connects every Medcor Canada service line into a coherent, documented system of care. Whether a worker is seen at an onsite clinic, calls our triage line or participates in a medical surveillance program, the data from that interaction is captured, stored and reportable.
This connected approach gives employers a complete, accurate view of their workforce health program, and gives Medcor Canada the data to continuously improve the care we deliver.
