Medcor Provides Experienced Staff for Your Clinic

Clinics are staffed by Medcor’s specially trained health professionals according to each clinic’s scope of care. These health professionals include physicians (MD and DO), Physician Assistants, Nurse Practitioners, Registered Nurses and Onsite Health Technicians (such as EMTs and paramedics). Our clinical quality assurance process uses technology in our clinics to measure and analyze outcomes, which in turn helps us continuously fine-tune our standards, training and tools.

Physicians (MDs & DOs)
Doctors who diagnose and treat illnesses and injuries

Physician Assistants (PAs)
Licensed medical professionals who work with a physician to provide direct patient care

Nurse Practitioners
Can perform standard patient examinations, referring their findings to MDs or PAs

Registered Nurses
Coordinate with patients on their care and provide advice on a variety of health conditions

Onsite Health Technicians (EMTs & Paramedics)
Perform emergency treatment including triage, CPR and other life-saving functions

The Medcor Client Portal

Medcor’s sophisticated systems and software manage clinic operations, OSHA recordkeeping and customized reports for trend analyses. Electronic medical records and e-prescribing streamline clinic visits. Within our client portal, you can interact with the data that Medcor’s software captures and see what your clinic’s health statistics look like.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Injury frequency is not the only value driver. Many employers find meaningful returns through reduced ER utilization, faster return to work, preventative care and compliance support — even at lower-incident worksites. Medcor can help you assess your current healthcare spend before you commit.

  • Convenience and continuity are the key differences. Onsite care reduces time away from work, keeps employees in your designated network and gives your safety team real-time visibility into incidents. It also supports consistent OSHA documentation and proactive recordable management — things an offsite provider cannot replicate.

  • Essential care focuses on first aid-level support. It is non-clinical and does not involve the practice of medicine — basic injury response without medical decision-making or physician oversight. Advanced care is the practice of medicine: clinical decision-making delivered by licensed professionals operating under physician oversight. The right level depends on your workforce, risk profile and goals.

  • Medcor’s proprietary care protocols are designed to treat proactively, manage symptoms early and prevent cases from escalating to recordable status. In 2025, Medcor’s onsite clinics resolved 84.3% of cases without an offsite referral. Fewer offsite visits means fewer recordable incidents and a lower TRIR.

  • Yes. Medcor deploys mobile clinic units for multi-site operations, remote workforces and situations where a fixed structure is not feasible. Mobile units deliver the same clinical quality as permanent clinics and can be rapidly deployed.

  • Eligibility is client-configured. Depending on the scope of care selected, clinics can serve employees, contractors, dependents and spouses. Essential care clinics serve employees only; advanced care clinics can extend eligibility based on client decisions made during implementation.
