Robert Hastie

Rob has spent more than 20 years in emergency medical services, from advanced care paramedic to founding Leading Edge Medical Services in 2005 and leading Medcor Canada since its inception in 2016. He oversees the organization’s operations, sales, marketing and finance, and is focused on building Medcor Canada as a true strategic partner to the employers and workers it supports across the provinces and territories. Rob remains an active, registered paramedic in Alberta and previously served on a committee with the Alberta College of Paramedics. A lifelong Albertan, he was honoured with Queen Elizabeth II’s Platinum Jubilee Medal for length of service and commitment to public service.
