CLINICS

Your workforce can get lost on the trail of the traditional healthcare process.

For instance, the traditional healthcare process has no mechanism for preventing the overtreatment of patients, a problem that generates expensive unnecessary claims, wastes productive time, and adds extra burden to employees and employers alike.

Medcor’s software and systems provide a targeted approach that gets patients the right level of care and avoids overtreatment. Because our business model is not tied to insurance claims, our neutrality and transparency allow Medcor clinics to freely navigate healthcare for your workforce to help achieve better physical and financial outcomes.

North America Map

Medcor is a North American company. We serve the entire U.S. and Canada; we cover all shifts up to 24/7. Telehealth solutions such as injury & illness triage and telemedicine as well as on-location safety services and health security all integrate to complement the onsite care delivered at clinics and achieve the most comprehensive health navigation. Any combination of employees, dependents, retirees, contractors, customers, and/or visitors are served at our clinics. Sites with specific, tailored needs benefit from our expertise in special operations.

Patients at Medcor onsite clinics are greeted by friendly, caring Medcor staff who use our service excellence standards to place patient wellbeing and satisfaction as their priority.
Patients benefit from low wait times, walk-in and same-day appointments. They enjoy convenient online appointment scheduling, access to records, prescription refills, and health education resources.

Medcor’s sophisticated systems and software manage clinic operations, OSHA recordkeeping, and customized reports for trend analyses. Electronic medical records and e-prescribing streamline clinic visits.

WORKSITE HEALTH & WELLNESS CLINICS

Every employer wants a productive workforce. A workforce that is well is a productive one.
How do you get there?

Bringing Medcor onsite to your workplace with an employee clinic means employees have an advocate that can help them with work-related injuries, medical surveillance, urgent care conditions, COVID-19 support, return-to-work programs, preventive medicine, chronic disease management, health coaching, and more.

Our health navigation prevents unnecessary claims, keeping people out of the traditional healthcare system who don’t need to be there, and prevents overtreatments and overprescribing, which are tremendous cost-drivers in traditional healthcare. Because we are onsite, our early intervention means that health concerns are addressed before a claim can happen. When referrals are necessary, Medcor navigates patients through provider selection and the traditional healthcare system to ensure optimal health results and the most savings. And, when previously injured or ill employees return to work, we’re there to help them on their road to recovery and help them make the most productive use of modified and alternate duty.

Our client portal lets you interact with the data Medcor’s software captures in your clinics. The client portal empowers you to run reports that can help you assess potential vulnerabilities in workplace safety, or show you employee utilization of health services, which in turn, can help you make strategic business decisions for continual improvement.

Worksite Clinic Staff

Clinics are staffed by Medcor’s specially-trained health professionals according to each clinic’s scope of care. These health professionals include physicians (MD and DO), PAs, NPs, RNs, and OHTs (onsite health technicians—such as EMTs and paramedics). Our clinical quality assurance process uses technology in our clinics to measure and analyze outcomes, which in turns helps us continuously fine-tune our standards, training, and tools.

Construction Health
& Safety Clinics

Overtreatment of injuries on the job can lead to unnecessary claims and OSHA recordables and high experience modification rates. Be sure that your crew is getting the appropriate level of health services for their injuries with Medcor’s fixed-location onsite clinics and mobile clinics. These clinics deliver health services with Medcor’s proprietary care protocols and technology, which have been designed to ensure first aid care according to OSHA regulations and to ensure more serious injuries are identified and treated appropriately.

Construction clinics also provide time and cost-saving accessibility to drug and alcohol testing, medical surveillance exams, COVID-19 solutions, and safety program support. We deploy rapidly and provide up to 24/7 coverage in both rural and urban settings across the United States and Canada. Telehealth solutions like injury & illness triage and telemedicine complement construction health services 24/7. Optional wellness programs expand on the wellbeing possibilities for workers, including health coaching, blood pressure checks, and smoking cessation.

Onsite Clinics
Mobile Clinics

Project owners, general contractors, construction managers, engineering firms, insurance brokers, and insurance carriers partner with us.

We bring health services to both OCIP and CCIP wrap-up projects such as: skyscrapers, power plants, refineries, hospitals, stadiums, airports, data centers, bridges, tunnels, dams, highways, pipelines, and renewable energy projects, like wind and solar farms.

Our recordkeeping software tracks all injury and illness data, performs trend analyses for safety and prevention, and generates first reports of injury by state, OSHA 301 incident reports, and custom reports.

Onsite Construction Clinics

Medcor efficiently operates employee clinics in a variety of locations and adjusts according to project needs. Often these clinics are trailers that allow for fast implementation and easy mobility as jobs progress.

Trailer clinics are configured for optional services such as safety orientations and drug testing that can be conducted in the clinic. Medcor’s telemedicine allows injured workers to see a doctor without having to see offsite care.

The Real Value of Onsite Emergency Response

Direct ResponseTM Mobile Clinics

Medcor Direct Response (MDR) mobile clinics provide on-demand care to workers at the jobsite. Our mobile health units bring health services to the location of injured employees at the time of the incident. They also come to sites to facilitate drug and alcohol testing, audiometric testing, fit testing, and new-hire orientations.

Drug and Alcohol Testing

Drug and alcohol testing add value to the clinical
services delivered at construction sites.

Tests can include pre-employment, post-accident, random, or reasonable suspicion, DOT or non-DOT. Employees can be tested onsite using rapid test technology. Negative results are available within minutes. Non-negative screens are confirmed at a SAMHSA certified laboratory and are examined by a physician Medical Review Officer (MRO). Medcor’s onsite staff can also be certified to conduct onsite breath alcohol testing.
