AECOM Tishman wanted to go beyond the standard employee wellness program by addressing expanded topics specific to construction workers such as mental health awareness, proactive movement and smoking and alcohol use. They sought a partner to develop and implement a proactive, holistic program to benefit their workforce.

Solution 

As part of AECOM Tishman’s existing onsite clinic program, Medcor developed a wellness calendar to supplement and initiate wellness programs at the worksite. The program aimed to promote a healthier lifestyle for all workers, leaning into educational opportunities to provide workers with the tools necessary to make long-term changes. 

Outcome 

Workers reported broad, lasting lifestyle changes because of the wellness resources and programs offered by Medcor. Visits to the onsite Medcor occupational health technician increased for things such as routine blood pressure checks or to discuss stress-related issues.
