Dr. Thomas Eiseman joined Medcor in the fall of 2021. After completing undergraduate degrees in mathematics/computational sciences and biology at the University of Notre Dame, Dr. Eiseman attended medical school at Rush University in Chicago. His residency studies led to board certification in both Emergency Medicine and Internal Medicine, and served as ACGME Residency director at the University of Illinois. He developed an interest in medical education, systems analysis and operations and healthcare safety and lectured nationally on topics of clinical care and safety.
In 2012, Dr. Eiseman left academic practice to work as an emergency medicine and internal medicine clinician at Northwestern Medicine at Central DuPage Hospital. In addition to serving as Medical Director and Department of Emergency Medicine chairman, he was involved in medical staff administration and leadership as well as developing new clinical protocols for outpatient and inpatient substance abuse treatment.
Areas of interest and expertise include technology in medicine, including telehealth and telemedical services, emergency operations, substance use disorders, primary care and mental health and wellness.
